People from different worlds... or not so different...

Dean Mayers was a quiet guy, always under a tree during lunch at school, with a drawing pad and pencils. He wasn't sociable. No one really knew him, except the fact that he was always alone, and his perfectly good looks. He was mysterious. Then came Lucy Rivers, Miss Teen Popular of SkyBridge High. She had many friends, or so called friends. The kind of friends who only hang out with her to be in the spotlight. Lucy wasn't the typical mean-girl. She was fun, bubbly and nice.. But she somehow felt like she couldn't fit in. She felt like she was in a box, with four blank walls. She always felt like something was missing.
One day, during lunch time. Lucy sat under a tree with her friends.
" Like,, oh my gosh! That was the cutest shade of pink I've ever seen. And then, that manicure lady,, she like, put it on me and complimented me on how the colour suited me. It was like, so hot", Jasmine went on and on about her manicure. Lucy smiled, taking a bite of her dark red apple. Well, almost took a bite of it. The apple fell onto the grass and rolled to the other side of the tree. As her friends gossipped about their hot, female substitute teacher, Lucy tried to reach the apple. She couldn't get a hold of the apple.
" Looking for this?", a very velvet voice said. Lucy looked up into his eyes. Dean. She admired his sharp features, his dark hair, and pale skin. " I believe this is yours."
" Yes. How did you know?", Lucy took the apple and brushed his skin, so cold.
She shuddered.
" Your red lipstick. And you're the only girl in the whole school with lipstick this red", he told her.
" Oh. Thank you so much", she wiped the apple with a tissue.
He just turned away. She wasn't quite satisfied with their little conversation. She turned again. She saw Dean's drawing. A beautiful portrait of her. In a sundress, and the only color on the drawing were the red on her lips. And a smile formed on her red lips. Dean turned his head and saw Lucy. He hid the drawing quickly.
" That wasn't meant for you to see", he said. He turned the page and started to sketch a beach front view.
" Well then. That's too late. I saw it already. It's really beautiful", she smiled at him.
" You think so?"
" Yeah. it's cool"
" That's not the only drawing I have of you", he said.

After school, Dean cycled home, with Lucy behind him, holding on to him. She smiled, as she closed her eyes and felt the wind in her hair. When she opened her eyes, she realized that around them were trees so tall, like the enchanted forest. And they were on a road that led to a countryside. It felt like she's been on the bike for minutes. But it was already an hour. The countryside was so amazing. Mountains, and the beautiful lake. Why did he live so far away from school?
Lucy went into a room with him. A room filled with drawings, colour. It was alive. It felt alive. The amazing drawings on the walls, he was surely a genious. She felt like she was in the drawings herself. The drawings of the sea, as well as the drawings of the lake. She felt like she was there.
She spotted the drawings of her.. all her. On one wall. It was nice. To see pictures of her. It was scary too.
" Beautiful... Wow. You're really good..", Lucy smiled at him.
" Thanks. It's just that, not one ever tells me I'm good at anything. You're the first."

At that moment, he bent down to kiss her. She felt whole. She felt like she finally found the key to the locked box. The answer.
